Response to “Malevolent God Theory” Part 2

Response to “Malevolent God Theory” etc… 2.0

In response to the commets by daisychainforsatan on my xanga….

God gave me everything; He has taken nothing away, but gives more everyday…. name one thing He has taken away. God gives us a free will, a will to believe in Him or not, or to accept Him or not, or to follow His will…. or not. It is our choice; God’s a gentleman he isn’t going to barge in to someone’s life unless asked (Through prayer)

Deuteronomy 30:19, “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants.”

Joshua 24:15, “And if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

John 3:19 “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.”

Yes, I have seen and talked to God. God is in other people, and I see it in them, and I hope that others see Christ through me.

Matthew 25:45 ” “He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'”

You are correct about my mind being feable..It is definitely feeble compared to God’s wisdom and knowledge.

We are most certainly not mindless robots praying, humans are unique…and if we were mindless robots praying, we certainly would not be able to have several opinions about God, now would me? Your logic is not the best. And as for me…I want NONE of the “fruits of this world”. I don’t want any part of them

Matthew 16:26 What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

This is what God desires:

1. 1 Tim. 2:3-4, “This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth,”

2. 2 Pet. 3:9, “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”

3. Luke 14:23, “And the master said to the slave, ‘Go out into the highways and along the hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”

4. Heb. 3:7, “Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as when they provoked Me, as in the day of trial in the wilderness.”

And I HAVE asked myself the question…”Why would a God who wants me to be happy and loves me so much, not want me to do all the things that make me happy?” And I found the answer… Think of this…

Pretend as if you are a fish, swimming in the sea…and you see a beautiful wonderful looking fishing lure hanging down in front of you, and on it is the most delectable looking piece of food. So, you bite into it…. but, underneath it all is a deadly hook, that digs into your jaw and violently rips you out of the water…and into his hands.

It is the same way with the world, and the devil. Satan is the fisherman, seeking to devour us, give us great things, great powers, and great pleasure…but there is someone who is greater than us, and greater than Satan, and that’s God…

1st Peter 5:8: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour!”

Though Satan prowls like a hungry lion, seeking whom he may devour, though I know he keeps on trying…he is NO MATCH for Jesus’ power!

“Those who trust in the Lord, are as Mount Zion…They will not be moved.” -Psalm 125:1

Hey, Mark, what’s up? I think it’s wonderful that you use all these Bible verses to back up your argument in all of these posts. Have you ever got any comments back from the people you originally commented to? And how’s school going?
